Working as a contractor for Brain Traffic, I supported the content migration of a Fortune 100 company’s intranet by working within Optimizley CMS to build pages with UX in mind to make the content useable for the client’s employees. I worked closely with content strategists, writers, and visual designers to build pages and meet project requirements incorporating SME feedback to inform design iteration.

Because the content is proprietary information, the work is not displayed in my portfolio.

UX Content Design Experience

Single Page Site

The challenge with this project was that the client needed a single page site due to their platform hosting restrictions. The corresponding information and resources are hosted on a different site that will be linked to this single page site.

Working within the single page constraints, the brand guide, and WCAG considerations, I designed a landing page for the client that they will launch to generate new business.

I did the research, design, and writing for this landing page to meet the user needs and client needs.

Responsive Web Design for a Beginner’s Crochet Site

Learning a new skill or hobby can sometimes be challenging. This site aims to keep beginners from being tied up in knots!

This responsive web design project was completed for a course project. To get a sense of some of the design process, a user flow for mobile and desktop prototype are available, but the whole process can be viewed in the case study.

Mobile App for a Baseball Stadium

The user flows designed for this course project were for the two biggest concerns reported by the target audience: concessions and bathrooms.

Users can view the wait times for concessions or bathrooms, order online, and get assistance navigating to the bathroom or concessions stands.

Project for Social Good

This project for my design course was to create a dedicated mobile app and responsive web design for a product aimed at reducing litter in public spaces.

The user flows created were in response to the main user needs discovered through research, which was being able to share the load of keeping a community clean and safe for everyone to enjoy through both personal responsibility and community engagement.
